If you’re going to take the time to build a quality tree stand, why not give it a fun and unusual name?
How about Rut Roof Inn, The Hangover Stand or Easy Pickens? Those are just three of 20 cool names described in a post on Realtree’s Brow Tines and Backstrap blog.
The back stories of these names are definitely interesting.
Logan Beach named his stand Rut Roof Inn because it’s close to bedding cover and a food plot – a bed and breakfast of sorts for bucks and does.
Will Brantley picked The Hangover Stand for his spot presumably because it’s easy to stumble out to early in the morning, given that it’s only 100 yards from the back door of his cabin.
And Jonathan Losli decided that the name Easy Pickens would honor how he took an elk and two deer in his stand’s first season.
